O continue your lovingkindness to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 36:10
David, the sweet psalmist of Israel, prays that God would continue to show lovingkindness to His own people, to those who look to Him in faith for mercy, and that He would count them righteous through faith in the coming Savior, Jesus Christ.
Do not cast me away on account of my sins, O God, but have mercy upon me, forgive my sins and count me righteous through faith in Jesus, the promised Messiah and Savior of Your people. Amen.
