There the workers of iniquity have fallen. They are cast down and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 36:12
Those who turn aside into sin and oppose and seek to mislead those who hold fast to Christ and His Word are doomed to fall and be judged by God. They will be thrown down and utterly defeated so that they will never be able to rise up again.
O merciful God, grant that we not lose heart but hold fast to You and Your Word and not fall and lose our way. Keep us in Your Word that we might repent of our sins and place our faith in the redemption won for us through the shed blood of Christ Jesus. In His name, we pray. Amen.
