“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2
While most think the way to blessing and happiness lies in walking according to the views and ways of this world, true blessing lies in walking in the ways of the LORD and delighting in and meditating upon the teaching of God’s Word.
O LORD, grant that I not walk in the ways of this world but look to You and Your Word to lead me and guide me in the way of true blessing. Amen.
