For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. Job 19:25-27
With ancient Job, those who yet today place their hope and confidence in the atoning sacrifice of Christ Jesus on the cross receive by faith God’s pardon and forgiveness and the certain hope of the resurrection and eternal life with the risen Christ in His eternal kingdom. Though we die and our bodies decay in the grave, yet on the last day, we will see with our own eyes our crucified and risen Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ!
O crucified and risen Savior, raise me up from death to life and grant to me a place in Your eternal kingdom, for the sake of Your death for my sins and Your glorious resurrection. Amen.
[Scripture is quoted from the King James Version of the Bible.]
