“A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.” Proverbs 14:16
One who is made wise through hearing God’s Word will see that evil ways lead to death and will turn from them. The foolish rage against the truth and are confident in their evil ways even though they lead to death.
Grant me the wisdom, O Lord, to hear Your Word and turn from my evil ways to You for mercy in Christ Jesus. In His name, I pray. Amen.
